Afternoon, lads.

Thanks to raiding the reduced section at Co-op I now have 250g of ricotta and 125g of goats cheese and I'm not really sure what to do with them. I may do the ricotta with leek/spinach, mushrooms and pasta but for the goats cheese I'm stumped as I've never used it before and only ever had it on pizza.

Assuming it's not too soft, chop it up with some olives and veg for a Greek salad.

I didn't even know what ricotta was before I started buying the spinach and ricotta cannelloni from the reduced section. I'm still not sure to be honest. Some kind of cheese? Anyway it clearly doesn't melt like cheese is supposed to so I'm not a huge fan.

Goats cheese and caramelised onion tartlet? It's the only vegetarian starter in about 70% of restaurants.

It's a soft cheese.

Goat's cheese is pretty good just grilled on toasted bread. Complement it with something sharp, like mini tomatoes in a side salad with vinaigrette, and you're away.

I actually had exactly this this morning with some salt and pepper and oregano.

Without the side salad though, bugger that.

It's from Goat Simulator, basically Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, but with goats.

They must have upgraded the graphics lately. And there was me thinking it was a stock photo of a goat.

I thought you were making an irreverent joke, or maybe referencing a line from the I.T. Crowd, but no, it is a real thing.

It's actually a pretty fun game for one of those "I am bored and want to play something for 30 minutes to fill the empty void in my life" moments. Sage for /e/ shit on /nom/

It is. THPS3/GTA/Shaun the Sheep crossover.

Further sage.
