There are always abundant Kentfags elsewhere, so why not on Britfa.gs?

Where are you from, what pub, what school did you go to.

Everybody get in here!

I'm not sure. I believe Bromley is in Greater London, but most of my fellow residents would probably disagree.

Bromley is sadly London, I'm afraid. Only about ten miles from Charing Cross! There in a jiffy.

Y'know, sometimes it's quicker for me to get to France than to London? I don't even live that near the sea.

Will tomorrow be any better? Anyway, at least you have a public transport system. I'm at sodding university and my nearest train station is a fifteen minute drive away.

KENTFAG HERE. Thread is a success.

I'm in Maidstone, though often has to put up with the riff-raff from Medway. Pub I frequent is Maidstone's Wetherspoons, The Muggleton mainly, though sometimes one of the clubs (Genrally shit) I went to Maidstone Grammar School, which makes me an informed chap.

You Kings people do get routinely mocked though, because we're generally poor trying to be rich and you're all rich and flaunting it.

Listening to Jeremy Kyle's radio shows (Late & Live on BRMB and subsequently Jezza's Confessions on Century FM) was a wonderful way for a 10-13 year old boy to fall asleep. My parents' must have had no idea what I was listening to.

Memorable highlights include the guy who couldn't locate in his bedroom the sausage he had inserted into the girl he picked up the night before. He thought it was hilarious (in retrospect it may simply have been a prank), but Jeremy didn't, instead insisting that it was potentially a life-threatening situation for the woman and that the caller may be held liable should she die.

Another guy claimed to have sat on the transformer of his Scalextric set, resulting in a painful and persistent erection and an inability to pass urine. I suspect a more carnal situation caused his predicament. Jeremy tried to convince this man to visit A&E, even suggesting ways for him to conceal his erection.

Jeremy also revealed his penis to be 5" on a show about small members, almost in a boastful tone as I remember it.

This show was far better than The Jeremy Kyle Show. It was only relatively recently that I realised the TV and radio shows were presented by the same man.

The invicta FM equivilent was Steve Pink's show which was basically the same as Jeremy kyle's one. Made for good listning in the late hours.

On the subject of Invicta FM, does anyone remember the game Where's the Wally on the Morning Zoo in about 2003 where one of the presenters was in a certain location in Kent and throughout the show three clues were given as to where he was. I used to try an go into school a little bit late as it was allways revealed where the wally was just after the bell went.

That's the one. You chose a number, from one to a thousand, which correlated with a specific song. They then played the song, and you had to name it. If you got it right, then the voice would say "higher" or "lower", indicating to the next player which numbers to choose. Or it would go mental with horns and screaming and stuff, and they'd have one a grand. Either way they played some good songs.

Hello chaps from kent. My bastard wife is insisting we move to your part of the world to be closer to her elderly parents (oh, the joy...).

They currently live in Broadstairs, so she's wanting to be somewhere close by (45 min drive max). My only requirements is that it be within 10 minutes walk to the sea and not overwhelmed by chav-scum. Any suggestions?

West Kent along the thames estuary is mostly London suburbia (towns like Medway, Dartford).
Parts of Kent too far east to be Londonny and on the coast are generally shit and poor (towns like Ramsgate, Folkestone).
Parts of the middle of the county and away from the coast and motorways are probably the best bits (towns like Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury).
The rest is horrible new town shit (towns like Ashford).
