Aye up lads

I'm trying to get to the US as cheap as I possibly can, one way.
Can anyone point me in the way of the cheapest airline? Those flight comparison things are useless and they're giving me flights for over a grand when I can find one through searching for nearly half that. Cheapest airline I've found so far is Icelandair, coming in at £488 for August.

Cheers lads

Yeah, US Immigration are (rightly) some of the evilest bastards on the planet. One doesn't just pitch up with a one way ticket without a thorough interrogation and much paperwork proving you're going to leave, soon. Play by their rules and they're totally fair, but appear a bit shonky and you're not getting in.

As a "working class" American I don't know many people who would be allowed in, much less allowed to immigrate, had they been born somewhere else.

Every time I go there, and when I've looked at visa/citizenship rules, the more it looks like the US just wants to build a gigantic wall around themselves.

I went to see Slayer play there a few years ago. Got coked up off my tits before they hit the stage and went fucking mental in the pit - it was bloody fantastic. I still remember the circle pit during Raining Blood: The crowd was crammed so tight my feet barely touched the ground for most of that song. Oh and the shirtless skinhead meathead wankers who thought they could go around punching people in the face and get away with it. They lasted about three songs before everyone clocked on to what cunts they were and just stopped bothering to pick them up and started kicking them when they were down instead. Saw 2 of em leaving with blood gushing out of various parts of their faces to chants of 'nazi scum' and 'wanker'. I'm not really sure what they were expecting taking on a crowd comprised mostly of burly angry drunkards and mouthy women with very large boyfriends.

That's hardly any in-london travel at all. Pick up an oyster card, top it up with 20 quid and cash it out at a station when you're leaving. In any case, you will never be charged more on your oyster than you would have been for an equivalent travelcard, while you might be charged significantly less.

You were looking at entirely the wrong person. Anyway, thank you for suggesting Kunt and the Gang, it was a fantastic night even though I then walked to Piccadilly instead of Victoria and then had to book myself into a swanky hotel for £95 a night. It's alright though, I figured 'in for a penny, in for a pound' and brought my favourite personal fuckstick up from London for a good shagging on the kingsize. The bathtub was excellent. Top night, would do again.

Right, 2 days in and what I can say is that;

- Plenty of fast food shops, enough for everyone and their grandmother.
- Kind of run-down in places, feels a bit rough
- A good bit of bongos and muslamics, but thats ok, I don't really care much for either.
- Lads with neck tattoos sitting on the back of buses and swearing down the phone to their mates, all the while sitting next to some nice elderly lady.
- Bus drivers are bang-on sound, and do their job properly and in a friendly manner
- Young folk everywhere, everywhere, trying to get their fill of BANTZ, drink and other post-teenlad behaviour.
