2173 I feel like growing things
Right then lads, I've just bought a house (just a little terrace, windowsills and a yard) and I'd like to grow some food.

I'm fairly new to this sort of stuff, grew a few chillies last year and that, nothing spectacular though, I could do with some hints about what to plant and when to plant them.

Ideally smallish plants that are fairly straight forward to grow.

What's everyone else growing this year?

I didn't technically grow these as all plants are at my parental home, but I did tend to the blueberry bushes when I lived there and I had the chilli plant from a seedling.

I'm not sure what species it is, I have a feeling from the shape and taste that they're probably bird's eye chillis, but they pack a nice punch and I look forward to cooking with them. It occurred me to after trying my little bamboo drying arrangement that I should tie them up into a little ristra and let them dry that way; I'll sew them up and hang them in the sunshine again tomorrow.
